U.S. Approves Anti- HIV Drug
The U.S. food and drug Administration on July 17 made history as it gave its first ever nod for an Anti-HIV Drug, Trivada, to pharmaceutical firm Gilead sciences. Truvada is known chemically as a fixed dose, daily intake combination of entricitabine and tenofavir disoproxit fumarate. since 2004 it has been marketed as a breatment for those already infected with HIV.
