Scientists Make Robot that have Human Emotions 

Scientists at the university of pisa, Italy, said on july 16, 2012 that they had edged  closer to the goal of creating a human like robot the announcement was made after the robot they had made successfully  displayed an array of human emotions  ranging from fear to happiness. It took about 30 years of research for the scientists to come  up with the robot.

The robot, modeled on a female human, is named FACE, It uses 32 motors in its face to simulate different expressions It can perform this routine in so  accurately striking a manner that it can almost look like a human. It depends an a software that mimics human emotional responses. the robot tells the motors how to respond in order to recreate  a specific look, and the special software then mixes the various emotions to produce the desired type of emotion, 

The team led by researcher nicole hazzeri, modeled the robot on the wife of one of the team members. according to the daily mail, scientists present during the experiment termed the emotion. simulating performance of the FACE robot as "very realistic '.
